Tioga was abandoned on our ranch a month ago. We tried to find her owner through local shelters and posting her on pawsboost as a found, but had no responses. Rather than have her get run over, or shot by neighboring ranchers, we took her to the shelter. Because Tioga was so sweet, affectionate, and special in spite of her circumstances, we told the shelter to call us if she was not claimed. We were called on the third day. She loves other dogs, has a very gentle mouth, plays ball, and would make some family ( especially one with another medium size dog) a wonderful addition. She now walks on a leash, is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. I do the best I can to walk her often and play with her to keep her trust and sweetness intact, but because we have four indoor cats, we are forced to keep her in an outdoor kennel. She is a petite 1 year + at 38 pounds. She has a delightfully playful and goofy personality. She likes to be silly, play in a pool of water, play chase, and fetch. We are willing to meet someone for them to meet her. Oh, we named her Tioga because the ranch she was dumped on grows Tioga cherries. Please help Tioga. I have many more photos and videos.
