Tippy is a Found Husky Mix
This entry has expired and the information may no longer be current
This is TippyShe is a spayed Female, 12 months old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations.
This is a courtesy post on BASH- we appreciate those that find a husky and are willing to keep them and place them.
Tippy is a about 1 year old Female, Housetrained.
On February 19th we rescued a white female husky-shepherd mix. She was running on the highway southeast of Sacramento. She is young (< year) and was unneutered and in heat. She had no collar, was not chipped, and has no tattoos that we can find. Her behavior when we picked her up pretty feral, while sweet, she has no clue about appropriate interactions with people (jumps up on you, counter surfs, etc.) and appears to have had little or no training. She was house broken however.
Since then we have gotten her all of her shots (rabies included), tested for heatworm (negative), and spayed (as of yesterday). She is pretty high energy, needing about 3 >1 mile walks/day. She is very bright, has learned how to sit and lay down, and is scheduled for more training starting next week. She is making very good progress and is becoming a better behaved dog each day.
