This is Darcy
She is a spayed Female, 12 years old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations.LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME! Due to very unfortunate circumstances I have to make the sad decision to find a new home for Darcy. She is a 7 year old Husky/Heeler/Lab mix, spayed, up to date with all her shots. Darcy has recently developed issues with the small dog and other animals she grew up with. Because she is now a danger to the older dog in the house, I have to consider his safety and well-being. I would never consider rehoming her in any other case.
Darcy is a sweet, loving, and very loyal girl to her people- she has some anxiety issues and can be fearful of some people but loves others instantly. She is also fearful of other dogs but loves playing with my parents’ large dog, so may be okay with another larger dog with time and care. She is very, very fearful at the vet. Darcy loves hiking and has had rattlesnake training last year. She also loves swimming but her skin reacts poorly to pool chemicals and should be rinsed off after going in the pool. She walks very well on leash and knows basic commands but chooses when she feels like listening. Darcy’s worst habit is probably attacking the fence when she hears the dogs next door but we reinforced it very simply and it’s fine.
